Mrs. Mitchell was born in Stirlingshire, Scotland, September 8th, 1831. She came with her parents to New York in 1852, was married in 1853, and came with her husband to Iowa in 1855 ... She leaves her husband, three sons and five daughters ... She was taken sick more than a year ago with an affection of the lungs and a complication of diseases ...
