Charles was born in 1853. He was the son of Lachlan Thomas McGregor and Jane Gollan. He passed away in 1917.

Reference Notes

There are two birth records that would appear to be Charles Thomas McGregor. If one accepts the Geelong birth, then he was the fraternal twin of the short lived Jane Ann McGregor born the same year. I cannot find a birth source for any other sibling born in New Zealand. I am inclined to accept the Geelong birth. No emigration record for this family found. Noted 15/10/2022 by Alan Salt.
