DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Brian by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!

I've been casually trying to research my ancestors for a little over 5 years. There have been times when I've had my attention completely buried into it and times I've needed to rest while I wait for renewed energy and a possible breakthrough on a dead-end. Most of those dead-ends I would never have made it past without the help of others. And I've been happy when the occasions came when I could help people too.

I look forward to sharing information, I found some matches with information that I could correct mine with just going through my initial GEDCOM matches. I know that that there's more out there and surely some on my tree that can help you.

Here's some good info on gedoms since you uploaded a gedcom step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information Before you import a GEDCOM.

Thanks for stopping by our site. We're growing a worldwide collaborative tree with new growth everyday.
