Charles Mcquire, son of Warren McGuire and Lena Crawford, was born 18 May 1913, in Portland Oregon.  The family moved to Port Ludlow, when Charles was sixteen.  where he married Betta Werner on November 09, 1933. Together they had at least ten children, that did not live.
They relocated, for a while, to Port Angeles and Seattle, during the 1950s, returning to Port Ludlow in 1962. Charles was a self employed contractor, member of the Hadlock Lions Club and and honorary Port Ludlow fireman.  He passed away in 1970.
