Catherine was most likely born some time before she was baptised Catholic on 25 February 1834 in the parish of Moyvore, Meath, Longford & Westmeath, Ireland. She was the daughter of James McGuire and Catherine Mee.[1]
Catherine married Thomas Martin on 16 June 1862 in Milltown, County Westmeath, Ireland according to the rites of the Catholic Church.[2]
She passed away before 1901.
Research Notes
Family oral history always said that although Thomas Martin was born about 1870 in Glasgow, his parents didn't live there. There was never any indication of his ethnicity. The DNA ethnicity results for his descendants indicate it is likely there is Irish ethnicity in at least one of his parent's ancestors. This has been the basis for the connections made on this profile.
