E.O. Jameson indicates that Hugh Jameson married "Jane Barr" following the demise of his first wife, Christine (Whitehead) Jameson shortly after their arrival in American (on the sloop Mollly debarking from Port Rush, Ireland on Aug. 4, 1746). After the death of Christine (Whitehead) Jameson, he indicates that Mr. Jameson married Jane Barr and moved to then-Starkstown, N.H. (which subsequently changed its name to Dunbarton). The name jane "McHenry comes from an online source. I speculate that one of the two names may have been a name from a first marriage.
