Biography

Syrinda was born in Pennsylvania in 1893. She is a daughter of Benjamin Franklin McHenry and Minnie Warren.

After the death of her brother Jacob, her family split up and Syrinda was raised by J. Edgar and Sarah Lashford. She was their grand-niece.

She married Lawrence James in 1911.
