Colina McIntyre emigrated from the British Isles to Australia when she was a young woman. She settled in Victoria. There she married Malcom McDonald, b: 1832 on the Isle of Gometra, Scotland, UK., who had also emigrated to Australia. They married on May 2, 1867 in Victoria, Australia.
The couple lived in Braxholme, near Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. They had the following 5 children:[2]
