At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, Anne Woodville, her sons Douglas, Howard, William, and Vernon McKay, her daughter Lizzie McKay, her daughter-in-law Louise McKay, and her granddaughters Annie and Muriel McKay were listed as living in Lockeport, Nova Scotia[1]. On the census, Howard's birthdate is listed as January 13, 1866, and his occupation was listed as "Fisherman".
