Alexandrina was born about 1839 in Lanark County, Upper Canada. She is the daughter of Alexander McKay and Esther McDonald.

In 1851, Lexie McKay was living with her family in Lanark, Canada West. [1]

She married James Taylor in 1858, in Lanark County, Canada West.[2]

Lexie, James and their children were living in McNab, Renfrew South, Ontario.[3][4][5][6]

Alexandrina McKay Taylor died on 27 Jul 1917 in McNab, Renfrew, Ontario, Canada of acute Bright's Disease.[7] She is buried at Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior, Ontario, Canada.[8]
