Biography

George was born on 22 January 1879 in Ayton, Berwickshire, and was the son of Robert McKay and Jane Liddle.

George married Mary (Dall) McKay and had four children. The couple emigrated to Canada along with the rest of Mary's family and they were all living at various addresses in the same street in Manitoba in the 1916 census. George died in Winnipeg on 14 April 1938. ^[1]
