From "Tryon Family in America" by Wes Tryon

WILLIAM TRYON 5.88g, fifth son of Edward Tryon 4.31d and Mercy (Harris) Tryon, was born at Saybrook, Conn., date not shown, and was baptized there Feb. 16, 1774. He married Mabel McKean, daughter of Barnabas McKean and Mabel (Hall) McKean.

A family genealogy book states the following[1]

Eliza Jane [Thomas] b. Jan. 27, 1813. She m. Feb. 3, 1833, Joel Tryon, s. of William and Mabel (McKean) Tryon, b. Mar. 19, 1810. He is a blacksmith, Youngstown, N.Y. Eliza's parents, siblings, cousins, children, etc. are also included in this volume.
