Birth

Amos, Henry McKee, known as Amos or Buddy, was born on 11 September 1922 in Dyer, Douglas, Washington, USA to Marcus Henry McKee (1875-1938) and Ada Estelle Mason (1887-1932).

Military Service

He enlisted as a Private on 16 September 1940 in Parkwater, Washington in the United States Army Air Forces. He was single and had 4 years of high school education. He was a 1st Lt in the 8th Army Air Force, Fighter Group in World War II. He was shot down by flak on a strafing mission. He was flying P-40N Toni II.

Death and Burial

He died on 13 November 1943 over Papua, New Guinea.

Buried in Riverside Memorial Park, Spokane, Spokane, Washington. [1]
