Biography

William was born in 1871^[1].

Family history shows that William was the son of Margaret McKee (unmarried widow of Robert Lowrie) and John Shaw.^[2]

He moved to the United States as a young man in 1884 or 1886 arriving in Philadephia.

William McKee migrated from Scotland to United States.

"Willie" married Alice McKay in Ohio in 1891^[3] They had children

1. Julia Ett 1892-1982^[4]
2. Irvin John 1895-1995^[5]
3. Arthur William 1901-1994

His occupation was an apprentice boilermaker in 1900.^[4]

Alice and William divorced^[5] and he later married Minnie Frazee 20 October 1919 (her 2nd of 3 husbands).^[6]

He passed away in 1945 in Marion, Indiana.^[7]
