Elizabeth was born about 1843 in Georgia, United States. Her parents were George McKelvy and Rebecca (Unknown) McKelvy.[1]
In 1850, seven year old Elizabeth lived in Cass County, Georgia, United States with her father George (age 32), mother Rebecca (age 30), and siblings William (age 5), and James (age 3). Her father was a farmer.[1]
In 1860, seventeen year old Elizabeth lived in Cherokee County, Alabama, United States with her father George (age 44), mother Rebecca (age 44), and siblings William (age 15), James (age 13), Alexander (shown as Alexr T, age 11), and Elender (age 9). Her father was a farmer.[2]
Elizabeth married William Henry Hall August 24, 1865 and they had at least five children[3]

In 1870, William (age 26) and Elizabeth (age 26) lived in Barbour, Alabama, United States with children Eva (shown as Lalia, age 4) and newborn Ida. Nora Brigham (age 12), Green Fowler (age 18), and Charles Thorn (age 12) also lived with the family.[4]
Elizabeth is believed to have died before 1904 (when William remarried[3]).
