George William McKenzie [1][2] was born February 10, 1900 in Arizona, USA [1][2] and died September 30, 1962 in Stanislaus County, California, USA. [3][1] He is buried at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, Stanislaus, California, USA. [1]
George enlisted in the Marine Corps on October 22, 1918 and received an honorable discharge on May 15, 1919. [4][1]
Some interesing notes:
George's father was an Indian hunter and was disliked by the Indians. His wife would bring him food after dark so others wouldn't know where he was.
