Anne Emélie was born on 9 September 1836, and was baptized five days later in Terrebonne. She was the daughter of Aléxandre McKenzie and Marie Louise Desrivières.[1][2] She married James Frobisher McGill Desrivières on 23 June 1857 in Terrebonne.[3]
