Eleanor McKeown was born about 1808 in Lisburn Ireland. She was the daughter of John McKeown a weaver.[1]
Eleanor and her husband George Abbott migrated to the Colony of New South Wales Australia 1838 with their children Joseph 6 George 4 , John 2, Mary 9 and Sarah 7 as Bounty Migrants on the ship Mandarin [2]
She passed away in Kalkallo Victoria Australia in 1884.

ABBOTT.—On the 22nd inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, D. McRae, Donnybrook, Eleanor, relict of the late George Abbott, aged 77 years.[4]
