Biography
Nancy never married.
Nancy had a fiance who made a comment that he'd rather look up and see them bringing in his coffin than go to war. She jilted him and remained single all her life. [This was told to me by her nephew Dayton Simpkins Jr. Nancy lived with his family for many years.]
