Biography
I am the third child & 2nd daughter of a first generation American. My father's family immigrated in the early 1900's. My paternal grandfather, Robert Beveridge McKinlay, immigrated to work in the coal mines of West Virginia then moved to Midland, Allegany County, Maryland where he lived until his death in 1953. I have done a lot of research for my father's family and started in 1990 because my father was suddenly interested in knowing his family roots. Sadly he died before he got to see the extent of the information I had found. There are no longer any of my father brother and sisters alive but numerous offspring from them throughout the USA.
