MR. A. W. McICINNEY.

The death has occurred of Mr. Andrew Wilson McKinney aged 78, who for the past few years had resided in Auckland after spending many years in the North Canterbury district. Mr. McKinney was well known in that district, being in business as a pharmacist at Kaiapoi and New Brighton, Christchurch.

He was a native of North Ireland, and arrived in New Zealand with his family about 40 years ago, after spending a short period in Queensland.

Mr. McKinney was predeceased by his wife by exactly a year. He is survived by two sons, Mr. W. W. McKinney, of Christchurch, and Mr. C. A. McKinney, of New Plymouth, and two daughters, Mrs. A. B. Chappell and Mrs. E. P. Blamires, both of Auckland.
