William was born about 1865. He was the son of Albert McLain and Winnie Sibley.
He passed away in 1952 and is buried at Village Cemetery Passadumkeag, Maine.[1]
William A. McLain; Lincoln, Feb. 20-William A. McLain, 86, died in a Bangor hospital Tuesday after a short illness. He was born in Lowell, son of the late Albert and Winnie (Sibley) McLain. He had been a resident of Lincoln for the past 36 years and was a member of the Horeb Lodge, No. 93, F., and A. M., for 60 years. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Sirena Stubbs of Morarda, Mrs. Gertrude Cutler of Lincoln, Mrs. Azuba McNamara and Mrs. Alice Coffin, both of Bangor. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m., at the Clay funeral home, Rev. Warren S. Palmer officiating. Members of the Horeb lodge will conduct the Masonic services. The body will be entombed in Lincoln to await spring burial in Passadumkeag.[2]
