Biography

James was born in County Galway, Ireland. He and some of his siblings first settled in Madison, Indiana, and later moved to an 80 acre farm near Taylor, Wisconsin. James and his wife Bridget retired and turned the farm over to their daughter and her husband, Margaret and Joseph Gibson. James and Bridget returned to Madison, IN where he died. Bridget then returned to Jackson County, Wisconsin and lived with her daughter, Margaret.
