Biography

Elizabeth McLaughlin, was b at Francestown, NH, 16 May 1775, the daughter of Thomas McLaughlin and Joanna Searles, d, probably at Honeydale [Saint David], NB, after 21 Aug 1834, when she cosigned Charlotte Co NB deed O:79-80, and probably before Apr 1849, when she did not cosign Charlotte Co deed V:57-58; m at All Saints Church, Saint Andrews, NB, 12 Aug 1797, William Perry Scott, reportedly born 3 Dec 1774, [1] probably at Machias, the son of John Scott and Frances Thompson, d at Honeydale [Saint David], NB, after 13 Apr 1849, when he executed Charlotte Co NB deed V:57-58, and probably bef 1851, when he is not found in the census of that year. [2]
