Elizabeth was the daughter of Cary and Jane McLellan.

Marriage

Elizabeth married Hugh McLellan abt 1729 in Antrim, Ireland. Elizabeth and Hugh had 11 children. Their children were William (1730-1812), an unknown female infant (1733-1733), Cary (1734-1734), Abigail (1738-1821), Mary (1740-1804), Alexander (1742-1779), Cary (1745-1805), Jane (1748-1835), Martha (1750-1753), Thomas (1753-1829) and Martha (1755-1837). [1]

Death

Hugh McLellan died Jan. 2, 1787, aged 77. His wife, Elizabeth, who was a remarkably intelligent woman, retained her faculties down to a late period in her life. At the age of 90 she put the saddle and bridle upon her horse, and mounting from the horse-block rode over 2 miles to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren, spent the day, and returned alone. She died July 16, 1802 in the 96th year of her age. At the time of her death she had 234 living descendants. Both she and her husband are buried in the old cemetery at the village."

Elizabeth and Hugh were cousins and shared the same last name at birth.

According to the source below, Hugh married Elizabeth Warren on Nov. 11, 1719 of Palmouth (?) then moved to Windham, Maine. See p. 42 of "Windham in the Past" (below). Fetterly-28 02:12, 11 June 2022 (UTC)

These private siblings should be Open, all were born before 1800, thus are 200 years old.
