Biography

Simon McLellan was born in 1760 in Warren, Lincoln County, Maine District, Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. He was a shipmaster, and referred to as Captain McLellan. His parents were George McLellan and his wife, Mary (Webster) McLellan. [1]

Simon McLellan married Nancy Betsey Robinson, b: ca. 1768 in Thomaston, Lincoln, Maine, Massachusetts Bay, New England. They married on August 29, 1789 in Thomaston, Lincoln, Maine District, Massachusetts, USA.
