Biography
In the 1851 census, Catherine Maclennan (33, shipowners wife) and children Al (10), Ken (7), Ca (6), Dor (3), Fl A (1), Ann (1) and servant Mary Mcinnes (19 born Strathard, Inverness-shire) are living at 7 Ardavourer, Plockton. All were born in Lochalsh[1]
In the 1861 census, Catherine Maclennan (42, ships master widow), children Kenneth (17, fisherman), Catherine (15), Donald (13), Flora (11), Ann (11), Christy (8) and Murdoch (5) are living at 11 Cooper Street, Plockton. All were born in Plockton[2]
Catherine Maclennan married John McKenzie in Lochalsh on 1 Jan 1867[3][4]
Catherine died 11 May 1923[5]
