Note : This is not be dayghter of John Bain Mcleod. She was b. In Raasey, There is a record of his daughter Euphemia married to "McQuarrie". She died in Purnim, Victoria, Australia in 1914. That would make her 114 years old... Impossible.

1841 : CENSUS : Age 40, farmers wife with kids, in Rha near Uig, Skye Isle.

1851 : CENSUS : age 53, same.

DEATH OF HUSBAND : John Ross, in Uig.

1855 : EMIGRATED : with her 5 Children. On the SS Arabian. To Portland Bay, Victoria, Australia. Some of them carried on to New Zealand eventually (her son Alexander definitely).
