Biography
When Pearl Ette McMahon was born on August 30, 1869, in Lake City, Iowa, her father, Andrew, was 41, and her mother, Frances, was 36. She married James Bruce Encell in 1893 in her hometown. They had one child during their marriage. She died on March 13, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 85.
