Mary Boreland married Joseph Thomas McMeekin on 24 December 1889 Ballydown, County Down. Fathers John Boreland (Labourer) & James McMeekin (Railway ??). Witnesses James McMeekin & Isabella Boreland.
On 31 March 1901 the McMeekin family lived in Victoria Street, Banbridge, County Down. Joseph Thomas McMeekin (34) Damask Tenter & Mary Jane McMeekin (32) with Sarah McMeekin (3), James McMeekin (10), Joseph Thomas McMeekin (6), Richard Fredrick McMeekin (5) and boarder Robert Scott (23) Damask Tenter. All Presbyterian. [2]
