Charles McMillan is buried in Scottish Cemetery, Caledonia, Illinois.

Charles was born in 1864. He was the son of Matthew McMillan and Agnes Kelly. [1]

In 1920 he was hired hand on the Matthew Andrew farm. [2] He never married. He farmed in Caledonia. In 1940 he was farming with a widower, Noah Dulgar.[3]

Charles passed away in 1954.

Rites for Caledonia Farmer

Belvidere - Charles McMillan, 90, Caledonia, died early Monday afternoon in Maple Crest Home.

Mr. McMillan was born in Winnebago County and lived near Caledonia most of his life. He was a retired farmer and never married. There are no immediate survivors.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Atkins-Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin M. Oliver, retired Methodist minister, will official. Burial will be in the Scottish Cemetery, Argyle. Friends may call in the Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday. [4]
