Biography

Mary McMillan (married name McKeahnie) was born in 1838 in Argyll, Scotland, the daughter of Betty McGill and Donald McMillan.^[1]

She married Archibald McKeahnie in 1864 in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia.^[1] Their children were:^[1]

• Charles McKeahnie (1865–1907)
• Elizabeth McKeahnie (1867–1906)
• Mary (McKeahnie) Peden (1873–1938)
• Jane (McKeahnie) Bell (1877–1966)

Mary died on 23 December 1913 in Queanbeyan and is buried at St John the Baptist Cemetery, Reid, Canberra.^[1][2]
