Catherine Emily McMillan was born on 09 Sep 1849 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, USA as the first child of Michael McMillan and Christiana Pyfer^[1].

When she was 25, she married Anson Simonds Cooke,son of Daniel Green Cooke and Mary Lavina Simonds, on 25 Feb 1875 in Beloit, Mitchell, Kansas, USA^[2].

She died on 30 Mar 1928 in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, USA, and was buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas^[1].
