Michael and his wife Jane Mullins were the parents of at least two children:
They would have lived at Drumquin, County Tyrone, or nearby. Michael was a farm manager. [1]
Michael had passed away by 1863.
See his wife's profile for many more notes -- I have avoided duplicating notes across the two profiles.
No information is available concerning Michael's age. A tentative death record for Jane places her as born 1809, so I have estimated 1805 as it was usual for men to be slightly older than their wives; but a wide range of ages is possible.
Son Edward's immigration documentation 1863 says his father was dead. Michael does not appear in Griffith's Valuation either, suggesting he may have died before 1860; although it is also possible he was alive but did not lease a farm at that time.
Segully is due south of Drumquin; the next-but-one to the east is Magharenny. (The two are separated by Unshinagh). I can only assume Boyle is a sub-townland or otherwise referring to some subdivision of Segully.
It is not clear whether this Michael of Segully might be the same person as this profile.
In a rootschat post, it was suggested Michael McNabb (abt.1819-1893) from "Tugally" (perhaps a transcription error for Segully) might be this same Michael. However, given that Edward was born 1834, and Edward said his father was dead by 1863, this seems unlikely now. Furthermore, this Michael from Tugally would not be old enough to be the same person as the Segully tithe applotment books.
TODO - This will soon be moved to a separate analysis page.

Dooish 10 borders Segully 3,4,9, so it seems likely those are both the property of Francis McNabb of Segully.
Magharenny 7 borders Dressoge to the east, so that would be a different person. However I doubt it would be Francis (1841-1928) who would have been a minor at this time.
Magharenny 1 is at the northern end of the townland , boarding Drumbarley and Drumrawn.
Note that a Mary Percy also was at Magharenny. This might be Catherine Farnan's grandmother or aunt; perhaps that was the reason Francis and Catherine were at Magharenny (as opposed to because of McNabbs).
As of the 1901 census there were no McNabbs in Segully or Magharenny; and three in Dooish (the three of William's children).
