Isabella was born about 1855. ^[1] She was the daughter of William McNabb and Mary McKeown who lived at Dooish, County Tyrone. ^[2]

She emigrated to the United States on the Circassia arriving 1 June 1886, stating her age as 26.^{[3] [4][5]}

As of 1905 she lived in Brooklyn with Hugh & Mary Ryan, Hugh's brother John, and Hugh's cousins Barney, Mary and Margaret Ryan. She was listed as "Aunt".^[6]

As of 1910 she lived in Brooklyn with Hugh & Mary Ryan, and Hugh's brother William. She was a seamstress employed by a private family. ^[5]

She passed away 12 Nov 1914 at Brooklyn, New York, and was buried three days later at Calvary Cemetery. ^[7] The executor was nephew John Ryan. ^[4]
