Biography
Catherine Maria[1] was born in 1889. She was the daughter of William McNabb and Hannah McGrory. [2]
On 28 Oct 1919 she married Joseph Shannon, son of Henry Shannon of Cavanacaw. Witnessess: John Mullin, Alice McNabb. [3]
She passed away 19 September 1932, registered at Omagh. [4] She is buried with husband and child Eileen at St Mary's Church Cemetery, Dregish. [5]
Research Notes
She may be the person "Cassie McNabb" who appears on death records of her father and brother William Joseph; and as witness on brother William Joseph's marriage.
An article in the Strabane Chronicle, 16 Aug 1902, "Langfield Gardening Society" Annual Show: Miss Cassie McNabb placed fourth in the Best Wyandotte or Minorca Chicken Show, and third in Nightdreamer Needlework.
Perhaps the marriage witness John Mullin is a relative of her sister-in-law Sarah Anne Mullin.
