Biography

"REV. N. B, McNABB DEAD" is the title of his obituary in the Daily Arkansas Gazette. Special to the Gazette Booneville, June 20. - Rev. N. B. McNabb, 91, of this place, died yesterday evening. He was born in McMinn county, Tennessee, July 12, 1824. For the past few years he had made him (sic) home with his daughter, Mrs. J. W. McConnell, at Booneville. Mr. McNabb was sent to Arkansas in 1869 as a missionary to the Indians by the Home Mission Board of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. He began preaching when he was 16 years old. Two sons, J. N. of Wichita, Kan., and Alexander of Okmulgee, Okla., and one daughter survive him, also several grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive him."

Reverend McNabb is buried at White Bluff Cemetery, White Bluff, Sebastian County, Arkansas, United States of America.
