DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Taylor by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Mcnabb-624 and McNabb-263 do not represent the same person because: David McNabb (the supposed father) did not have a son named Taylor, that I have been able to source. David McNabb and Elizabeth Taylor had nine sons: Absalom, Nathaniel, John, David, Isaac, William, Matthew (my line), Andrew and Albin. Some of the sons have middle names that can be sourced, but some don't. Nathaniel's middle name is Taylor, as is Andrew's. But whether David's middle name is Taylor is not known.
Consequently, I don't believe these two individuals should be merged until this can be sorted out.
