Baptiste McNabb is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A209514.

Baptiste took the oath of allegiance as his patriotic service in the Revolutionary War.

Baptiste executed his last will and testament on 4 January 1784 in Washington County, North Carolina. It is recorded in Will Book 1, page 7, Washington County, North Carolina (later becoming Carter County, Tennessee. Baptiste has nine children and in his will he mentions four sons, John, Jonathon (John and Jonathon may be the same person), William and David. He mentions five daughters, Isabella, Mary, Margaret, Jane, and Katrin (she may be named after her mother, Katrin/Catherine). John and David are named as executors of the will. A William McNabb witnesses the will, along with John Campbell and Agnes Campbell.

This is the 2nd Baptist McNabb, Baptist that left VA for TN and died there in 1784 was born in 1723 m. Catherine Gray and died in TN, his will is proven Jan 1784. His daughter Jane McNabb m. John Brown, DNA matches for both generations. His father William b. 1702 immigrated from Perth, Scotland for the Colonies, settling first in VA with 4 sons. ~ [My DNA connection with Baptist and Catherine Gray McNabb ~ Jan 2016].
