Marjorie Catherine (McNabb) Sullivan 1937-2007 Glace Bay We, the family of Marjorie Sullivan are deeply saddened to announce the passing of a loving, devoted and courageous wife, mom, grandmother and sister, on Aug. 23, 2007, surrounded by family at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. She found peace from an illness she had stoically fought over a decade. She was a resident of Glace Bay. Born in Reserve Mines, she was a daughter of the late Katie (Martin) McNabb and Raymond McNabb. She was a devoted wife to the late Ryan Sullivan of Glace Bay. Marjorie was also predeceased by an infant son, James Ryan and a sister, Priscilla McNabb. She is survived by her children, Donna Robson, Mira Gut, Pat (Carmel), Yellowknife, Glenn (Nancy), Glace Bay, Colleen (Kevin), Brushett, Glace Bay; grandchildren, Shaun, Ryan and Carley Robson, Mark and Carson Sullivan, Taylor and Jordan Brushett and Kathleen and Ryan Sullivan. Her immediate family includes sisters, Eileen MacIntyre, Halifax, Jean Lawrence, Langley, B.C., Maurina (Bernie) Antle, Sydney, Anne Rennie, Glace Bay; brothers, Gordon (Kay) McNabb, London, Ont., Larry (Elizabeth) McNabb, Ottawa, Raymond (Shirley) McNabb, Sydney; and a brother-in-law, Daniel (Katherine) Sullivan, Glace Bay. Marjorie was a member of St. Anne's Church. For many years she was an active member of the Lingan Golf Club and an avid bridge player and bowled for many years. Visitation will be held today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Curry's Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, Rev. Leo Boone officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery. Donations in Marjorie's memory are requested to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre. ^[1]
