When Caleb Cranson McNair was born on August 14, 1792, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, his father, Robert, was 35 and his mother, Sarah, was 36. He had one child with Eunice Hull and two other children. He died on January 11, 1863, in South Bristol, New York, at the age of 70, and was buried in Naples, New York.[1]
