Biography
Arthur was born in River Inhabitants, Richmond, Nova Scotia in 1911, the son of Austin McNamara and Mary Ellen "Minnie" Murphy. The 1931 Census shows him living independenly, but apparently adjacent to the houseshold of his mother and stepfather. He married Rita Gertrude Proctor in 1944. He died in Lower River Inhabitants in 1974.
