Biography
Eliza was born in 1836 in River Inhabitants, Nova Scotia, the daughter of David McNamara and Elizatbeth Poor (?) . She married James McNamara in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia in 1859. In 1881 she is living in Lower River Inhabitants with James and with six children ranging in age from 8 to 21. It appears that she is living with her son William and daughter in law Catherine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1920.
