Mary McNamee was born around May 1840 in Bally-na-screen, Tabermore Parish, Derry County, Ulster Province, Ireland. Her parents were James McNamee and Grace McGann. She immigrated to the United States around 1857.[1] She married Owen Sharkey 3 Jan 1859 in Mercer, Kentucky.[2] They had at least 7 children. She died on 8 Jun 1906 in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky. She is buried Calvary Cemetery. [3]
