George McNeil

JUNCTION CITY — George G. McNeil of Junction City died May 31 of age-related causes at age 89. No service is planned.

He was born March 14, 1921, in Salt Lake City to George and Mary Anderson McNeil. He married Helen Hoffman on April 24, 1946, in Bronx, N.Y.

He served in the Army for four years during World War II as a radio operator in the Arctic. He graduated from University Dental School and worked as a dentist for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark of Junction City; a daughter, Kim McNeil of Eugene; and two grandchildren.

Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
