BROWN - Departed this life in Augusta county, Va., Feb. 5th, Mrs. Mary S. Brown, wife of the Rev. Henry Brown, in the 65th year of her age. Her father was James McNutt, long a justice of the Peace in Augusta county, and a ruling elder in the congregation of New Providence. Her mother was Mary A. S. Morton, a daughter of that admirable old Christian gentlemen and patriot, Major James Morton, of Wilmington, Prince Edward county, Va., and on account of unswerving fidelity in the times of the Revolution, well known under the soubriquet of "Old Solid Column."
