Walter was born in 1866. He was the son of William McNutt and Mary Goudy. He passed away in 1905.
Claflin, Kans., Aug. 14. Walter McNutt died of typhoid fever today, at his home in this city, aged 38 years. He leaves an invalid wife, four sons and two daughters. Mr. McNutt was an early settler, having lived in Cleveland Township for a number of years. Last fall he moved to Claflin, and since that time was proprietor of the City Meat Market. He was an earnest Christian worker having united with the Friends church in 1892.

McNutt At Claflin, Kans., Eighth month 19, 1905, Walter A. McNutt, aged nearly 39 years. He was converted and joined Friends thirteen years ago. He was a faithful member and elder of Bethel Monthly Meeting, Barton County, Kansas. In his death the little meeting, made up entirely of persons who have come in by convincement, sustains a great loss.
