Biography
Sarah Cameron McPherson was born on February 2, 1871, a daughter of Hugh McPherson and Catherine (born McKenna).Her birth was registered in Grafton, New South Wales.[1]
She married Malcolm McSwan in 1899. Their marriage was registered in Grafton.[2]
Sarah McSwan died on December 8, 1921, aged 49 years, at her residence, Boggy Creek, near Brushgrove, New South Wales.[3] Her death was registered in Maclean. [4]
- "MRS. MALCOLM McSWAN.
- The death occurred on Thursday night of Mrs. Malcolm McSwan, at her residence, Boggy Creek, near Brushgrove. Mrs. MScSwan (nee Miss McPherson) had been ailing for some time. Her husband and a grown-up family survive her."
She was buried in Maclean Cemetery, Maclean, where her name is inscribed on a gravemarker together with her age and year of death (1921).[5]
