Biography

Christina was born in Aberdeen in 1819, fourth child of Hugh Macpherson (1767-1854) and Christina MacLeod (1785-1860). She married Michael Edgeworth in 1846 and they both went out to India. Her two children were both born in India: Christina and Harriet. Christina died in infancy. She and Michael returned to England in 1859 and lived in Penge, Surrey. She died in 1882.
