MRS. CHARITY YAWN

COLLINS - Services for Mrs. Charity McQueen Yawn, about 78, were scheduled at 3:30 p.m. today at Blakely Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Carl Sullivan, Rev. Mason Miley and Rev. Reese Rogers officiating.

Interment was to be in the church cemetery, with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee in charge.

Mrs. Yawn died Monday afternoon at her home on RFD 4, Collins, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Blakely Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, J. Will Yawn; four sons, Ernest and Willie, both of Collins, Johnny of Hattiesburg, and Clinton of Lumberton; a daughter, Mrs. M. L. Graham of Hattiesburg; three brothers, Alex, Ance and Owen McQueen, all of Collins; a sister, Mrs. A. M. Knight Sr of Jackson; a number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. [2]
